 Advanced Capture is a high volume, batch capture product capable of capturing up to 250,000 plus images per day. It provides a long list of features that allow the most sophisticated user to do complex jobs, while providing a simple environment for people new to imaging.
Advanced Capture supports document capture from over 250 scanners using either ISIS drivers, Kofax Adrenaline or VRS, as well as direct importing of image files. Image Processing (Deskew, Border Removal, Rotation, etc.) can be performed on captured images at the rated speed of the scanner.
Index and validation of captured documents can be simplified using a number of built in functions including Zonal OCR, barcode reading, database lookup against multi-key fields, selection lists, etc. This allows the possibility of performing automated indexing of documents, minimizing human intervention.
OCR conversion of images can be performed using one of the industries most popular, most accurate OCR engines. Support for many popular file formats including: Adobe PDF (Normal, Image Only, and Image with Hidden Text), Microsoft Word and Excel, Rich Text Format, Text, HTML, and WordPerfect.
Advanced Capture allows users to customize their workflow for each document type using any combination of the available modules: Capture, Quality Assurance, Index, OCR/PDF, Retrieval and Export/Migration. To simplify batch management, the included Batch Manager module allows users to view the current state of all batches in the system, move batches forward or backward in their defined workflow, and delete/close batches.
